The medal indicts the inherited and invented spirit of the new Chinese women volleyball team from their predecessors, combining the European and American style in practice to make the volleyball stand out in the Chinese sluggish football, basketball and volleyball situation. In the pre-vious match, block inadequacy has always been a weak point of Chinese women volleyball team in technique, Now, the lack of high block defender in the front line will definitely influence the defense effectiveness and the efficiency in transition from defense to attack in the back-row. In this year’s world voll-eyball championship, Chinese women players are all high and have good defe nse cover in general. Thus, whether this closely relates to Chinese women volleyball team’s entry in the final is the key point of this essay. By literature re-view, mathematical statistics, experts interview, logic data analysis, this essay systematically analyzes the block conditions of Chinese main opponents(Brazil,America, Italy, German and Japan) of this year’s world women volleyball championship,which provides data reference and evidence for new Chinese women team’s scientific exercise and match by finding out strengths and weaknesses of Chinese women team in defense strategy through comparative research.The essay draws the following conclusions by comparatively analyzing the bl ock index of the seven countries, namely China, Dominican Republic, Italy, Japan, Germany, America, Brazil.(1) Chinese women players’ overall blocking effect is good and ranks the seco-nd. Brazilian team’s general blocking effect is the first, with German team the second and the American team ranks the fourth.(2) Chinese women players are little and slim with higher average on block height and spike height, which laid a foundation for the application of their bl-ock technology.(3) When in the different position of the block, the effect of blocking of Chi-nese women team No 2 is more than four bits and three bits.(4) The effect of Chinese women individual block is not ideal, which lays lar-ge proportion on the inappropriate position. Chinese volleyball team is mainly two-man block, the effect of which is not as good as triple-block.(5) When Chinese team wins the game, under normal circumstances, it is bec-ause the effective blocking rate is higher than Dominican Republican, Italian, Japanese team and with invalid blocking rate lower than that of the three coun-tries. But when Chinese team beats the German team, Chinese women players are lack of block effect and the major win is in other technical aspects.(6) When Chinese team loses the game, the block effect gap is not obvious between China and America, Brazil, Italy. The reason to be defeated by the opponent has little connection with the block.(7) When it comes to individual block, Chinese player Yuan Xin-yue has the equal height, block height and fast moving blocking ability with Brazilian seco-nd spiker Thaisa, but Thaisa has more game experience.(8) The overall blocking effect of the Dominican Republican, Italian and Japa_nese teams is in average and lower than Chinese team.
