A Research On College Students’ Awareness Of Integrity Cultivating By Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture

Integrity is an essential element in College Students’ comprehensive development, also the internal driving force for their growth. However, with the further development of reform and the socialist market economy’s opening up, moral decline, weak sense of integrity, dishonest behavior occurs among some students. Chinese excellent traditional culture contains rich resources of integrity idea, is a valuable asset for cultivating College Students’ awareness of integrity. Therefore, based on the perspective of Chinese excellent traditional culture, exploring the cultivation mechanism of contemporary college students’ awareness of integrity, has multiple meanings in the theory, practice and academic development.Firstly, this thesis reviews the domestic and foreign scholars’ researches on Chinese excellent traditional culture, college student’s awareness of integrity as well as the relationship between them, the core concepts relate to this article were defined. Secondly, combs the discussion of level in cultural and moral, from Marxism, Western ethics, Chinese traditional culture, in order to provide a strong theoretical basis for the study. Again, starts empirical research from four target levels as the students’ personal identification, integrity index, evaluation index of Chinese excellent traditional culture, impact indicators in cultivating students’ awareness of integrity by Chinese excellent traditional culture. Then bases on survey data, analysis the factors from the social, school and family, the students themselves three levels. Finally, combines the theoretical basis and empirical data, preliminary put forward a realization path of cultivating College Students’ awareness of integrity by Chinese excellent traditional culture, from three sectors as route guidance, route search, route protection.
