As the continuous development of the society, higher education draws increasing attention from the government and all walks of life gradually. The research-based teaching that aims to guide the active study of students and cultivate the capability of students in innovation and practice becomes important contents in the reform of college education. However, the outcome of research-based teaching and learning have been affected by various problems exist in the implementation of research-based teaching and learning.Thus, how to ensure the quality of research-based teaching is of great importance for maximizing the research based teaching effect.By means of literature review, interview, questionnaire and data statistics, the author of the thesis studied the research-based teaching quality in Shenyang Sports University. The author made an in-depth study of teaching and analyzed the current situation of research-based teaching from different aspects. On the basis of the existing problems, factors that affect the implementation of research-based teaching in Shenyang Sports School are analyzed, safeguard mechanism are mentioned and corresponding strategies are proposed, so as to offer references for implementing research-based teaching in Shenyang Sports School. This thesis aims at studying the quality guarantee of research-based teaching and learning in Shenyang Sports University in a broad sense so as to carry out reform and propose some corresponding strategies to guarantee the quality of teaching and learning.It can be seen from the studying results that research-based teaching and learning is carried out among all departments of Shenyang Sports University and have achieved certain effect, but there are many problems: students are lack of studying time and learning motivation; teachers don’t have efficient energy to instruct students; some teachers are deficient in tutorship; the university is short of certain resources and the management is incomplete. In view of these problems, the factors affecting the research-based teaching and learning include teachers, students and school management etc. According to the influential factors existing in research-based teaching and learning, a quality guarantee mechanism is proposed for its implementation in Shenyang Sports University, which involves four aspects, namely, educational objective guarantee, educational idea guarantee, educational resource guarantee and educational management guarantee. Lastly, three safeguard strategies are proposed based on the safeguard mechanism, including teaching strategy for teachers, learning strategy for students and school strategy for the school, so as to ensure the quality of research-based teaching in Shenyang Sports University comprehensively.
