Mr.Xu Fumian is an outstanding representative of contemporary Chinese education in our country and has a highly-respected position in the circles of northwest China. Not only his effective pedagogical achievements and tortuous life experience, but also the deeds of long-term rooting in the basic Chinese education in Xinjiang, have proved that he is a profound thinker and practitioner of Chinese education. He has constructed personalized knowledge structure of Chinese teaching during the long period of researching and practicing. His profound knowledge and self-cultivation strongly support his teaching of Chinese. Moreover, his distinguishing feature of nobleness and scholar makes his lessons incarnate the legacy of Confucius and Mencius.Education in our country is undergoing profound reforms. The professional development of teachers has become the focus of research in education and also as a key element to deepen the basic education. The scholars have been increasingly recognized the influence of "knowledge", which is the core issue of teacher’s quality.So, what kind of knowledge construction should the front-line teachers have? How to complete the process of knowledge construction? By researching the Chinese pedagogical content knowledge of Superfine Teacher, which is recognized in the education circle, is undoubtedly one of the several methods.This paper tries to discuss the basic constitution and the characteristics of Mr.Xu’s Chinese pedagogical content knowledge, through the perspective of pedagogical content knowledge and the qualitative research method; From two aspects, which is the unique way of internalizing, absorbing and creatively producing the knowledge and the external causes, to illustrate its relationships between Mr.Xu’s Chinese pedagogical content knowledge with the spirit of faith, the connotation of culture, professional competence, the social environment, the instructions of the predecessors, religion and philosophy and other factors with the form of qualitative interviews.Through the research, we clearly see that the pursuit of life and the faith in education guide the formation of Mr.Xu’s unique Chinese pedagogical content knowledge; Systematic studies of knowledge, acquiring different kinds of cultural knowledge without prejudice, lay a solid foundation for the formation of his Chinese pedagogical knowledge; Individually unique pursuit of humanity and aesthetic, the combination of the cultural and historical mission and the educational practice,eventually formed Mr.Xu’s characteristic Chinese pedagogical content knowledge.
