Professional Counselors’ Ability Cultivation Of University Specialization Background

The ability of college career counselors under the demands of the professional background is fostering further development of higher education reform. Career counselor is to its positioning as a specialist to do ideological and political education of students and student management work, and the work content meticulous division of labor according to demand. Dual role as a college counselor educators and administrators aren’t allowed to make their career orientation, which not only deal with student affairs, as administrative staff also engaged in other administrative work as teachers don’t have the professional qualifications of teachers ideological and political education. In this study, professional competence and professional counselors present situation, problem and reason as a starting point, considering the status quo of professional competence of counselors thought lax practitioners, professional abilities, limited professional standards, professional ethics anomie; Problems for love lack of education, level of ideological and political education to keep up with current demand, the lower level of standardized psychological guidance for students to ignore, scientific management, interpersonal communication skills aren’t high and vocational guidance isn’t strong; It produces the reason there is a short board for specialized education and vocational slow process, the level of training sending limitations, ideological transformation incompetent practice isn’t strong. College counselors’ professional competence consists of six parts, foster professional competence of the need for professional education to be effective. College counselors specialization main limitation is that the training system bottleneck counselors, it is training that mechanism isn’t perfect and imperfect, which restricts the ability to deepen professional counselor, and therefore increase training aspect, but also need to improve college counselors and school-based training base training, career counselors to deepen and consolidate development. Specialized training for counselors’ object, during base training counselors, takes into account both the level and the quality level differences, but also taking into account the role of the counselor works, attention counselors’ play to their ability to mobilize their initiative and enthusiasm, and to actively participate in their professional training in the process. School-based training is an important mode of vocational training counselors, since many universities, the number of counselors and numerous regional differences universities, national training and provincial small number of trained personnel, and can’t meet the current career counselor development, school-based training has become the main mode of professional training. Through its professional counselors in education and training carried out after working with the professional ability to work, but the main professional level counselors work is still in its experience, thinking, reflection, study, in order to gradually improve.
