Ke Jiu si, a calligraphy and paintings connoisseur of the Imperial Court during the Yuan Wen zong Period(1328-1332), had profound influence on the identification, viewing and arrangement of those famous calligrphy and paintings which have stood the test of time. This paper presents how Ke Jiu si opened his career in the Imperial Court of the Yuan dynast, emphasizes the role of the collection Cao E Bei and clarify his viewing on calligraphy and paintings after he held an office in the Imperial Court. Combing through it, we can have a further understanding of the condition and circulation mechanism of royal collection of calligraphy and paintings in the Yuan dynast. |
