Chemical experiments are the main elements in chemistry and the main line in the chemistry teaching. They are the effective ways to improve the students’ chemistry learning. The new curriculum emphasizes the irreplaceable role of experiments in chemistry, so the experiment teaching is the most effective way to promote the chemistry curriculum reform. Improving the experiment teaching in chemistry and let the students participate in the experiments, that will greatly arouse the students’ interest in learning chemistry, let students master the chemical knowledge effectively, and stimulate students’ exploratory thinking and creative thinking. Eventually, the overall goal of the new curriculum to improve the students’ scientific literacy will be achieved.Get some inspiration by analyzing the characteristics of chemistry experiment test questions in the college entrance examination in recent years. Analyze the present situation of high school chemical experiment teaching both at home and abroad, especially the present situation in China, and put forward the research question to expound the purpose and significance of strengthening the teaching of chemistry experiment in high school. The main research methods in this paper are the literature research, survey method and the action research method.The questionnaire survey "the present situation of high school chemistry experimental teaching" is designed to get better understanding of the students’ emotional attitude to the chemical experiment and their learning behavior in the process of chemical experiments, thus to provide certain practice basis to strengthen chemistry experiment teaching in high school. The practice is mainly about five parts: introducing the articles of daily use into the chemical experiment to enhance the students’ exploring interest; Infiltration of green chemistry education to improve the students’ environmental awareness; Carry out small family experiment to enrich the students’ chemistry life; Guide the student to inquiry scientifically to cultivate the students’ experiment exploring ability; Guide the students to improve the experiment to cultivate their innovation ability. I compare and analyze the midterm exam scores and the final exam scores of two classes (The experimental class and the comparison class). Besides that, I interview several students of different level to learn their study change before and after the strength of the practice of experimental teaching in chemical experiment. At last, summarization and reflection of the study subject.
