Facing the strong impact of popular visual culture, students are no longer living in the "ivory tower", their values and outlook on the world and by the impact of visual culture is becoming even bigger, but the view of world valued by the middle school student is in transition period.How to cultivate the students’ consciousness of cultural criticism and reflection spirit through the art education,to cultivate their consideration of all kinds of visual image, interpretation,and judgment, is worthwhile pondering this question for each education workers.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the research by the scholars at home and abroad, and combined with the practice of the art teaching in middle schools, the teaching of critical thinking into the visual culture, mainly through the following four parts to study the background of visual culture art of critical thinking teaching.The first part is the introduction, mainly introduces the background of the topic source,the purpose and significance of this thesis, research methods, research innovation and so on. The purpose is to make the readers on the whole study of this topic have a general understanding;The second part, mainly on the visual culture, critical thinking and other related concepts,which should be introduced and defined. The purpose is to make the readers have more knowledge and understanding in the related concept of visual culture and critical thinking. The fourth part is the practiceof critical thinking andThe third part, mainly analyzes the influence of visual culture on school education and students, and further discusses the possibility of training, the training of critical thinking in art education value etc.The fouth part is the practiceof critical thingking and teaching expioration.It It is also themain core part of the paper, focusing on the teaching target, c ontent, implementation, evaluation and exploration on the aspects of theory and explore in case "red envelopes" as its practical application.This chapter focuses on the implementation process of critical thinking teaching, and summarizes the eight aspects of the implementation of critical thinking teaching, then emphasize the importance ofart teachers in the implementation of teaching of critical thinking, and hope that through the art of critical thinking teaching exploration, inspire teachers to pay attention to the art education under the background of visual culture,lay emphasis on the development of critical thingking teaching to students, and be able to a guiding role in the teaching practice.
