In the era of nowadays society quite rapid development, the master of talent capital became an effective competition of international bargaining chip. The stand or fall of educational development also gradually becomes the evaluation criterion of countries developed or not, countries are depending on the quality of education to improve the international competitiveness of the important factors. The key to improve the quality of education depends on teachers’ quality. Aim for that, many countries are trying to promote teachers’ level of professional development, improve teachers’ professional level, research and develop the professional standards for teachers.Australia has promulgated the “National Professional Standards for Teachers” in 2003. After years of practice and the standards to modify, in February 2011, a formally issued new “National Professional Standards for Teachers” faces the nation. In February 2012, our country also has issued our own professional standards for teachers.This paper mainly includes six parts:The first part is the introduction, it has proved to sino-australian professional standards for teachers of study and research on the reason. And this part introduces the domestic and foreign teachers’ professional standards between of the two countries, their standard research status, related concepts defined.The second part mainly introduces that under the time background of teacher professional development in the whole world, states the basic situation of teachers’ professional standards, as well as the historical vicissitudinous process of Sino-Australian Professional Standards for Teachers respectively.The third part, at first this article describes the basic framework of contents of the sino-australian bilateral teachers’ professional standards, and then summary and simple analysis the common of the two countries’ standards.The fourth part is mainly on the comprehensive comparison of teachers’ professional standards, two countries to find out and summarize the various differences of standards, such as, the difference between the concept of moral education and the difference between the standard form and the pattern, and the difference between the standard stages of development.The fifth part, through to the teachers’ professional standards commonalities and differences between the two countries of comparative analysis, find out the influence factors behind it.Finally, the sixth part, through comparative analysis, summarized advantages and enlightenment of the Australian teachers’ professional standards to our country’s development of teachers’ professional standards.
