Research On The Countermeasures Of Anti-religious Penetration In Xinjiang Universities

Affected by current domestic and international backgrounds, In Xinjiang, the situation of religious penetration in local universities grew tough. Students, especially who were minorities, more and more of whom became prayers or believers. Some of them skipped classes, escaped school, and even abandoned their own studies. Even worse, a small number of students coerced by the “three evil forces” and became the religious extremists. These phenomena, not only damaged students’ physical and mental health, interrupted the educational orders, but also threatened the stabilities in campus and the whole society. Hence, in Xinjiang universities, it is urgent to put the anti-religious penetration on agenda.In view of this, after sorting out the academic research domestic and aboard, the author, first provided brief overviews about the religious penetration and the anti-religious penetration in Xinjiang universities; next, the author would analyze the flaws and their reasons about the anti-religious penetration; last, in this article, it would offer six countermeasures, such as striking the three evil forces, setting up the preventive mechanisms, improving the regulations of management, playing a good model, upgrading students’ scientific quality and persisting the cultural leading, so as to provide a powerful guarantee of promoting the abilities of anti-religious penetration in universities, constructing a good campus living environment, and training the loyal and qualified socialist successors and constructors.
