Building physics models for scientific research is the common method in physical development, also importing physics models thinking and idea can improve the quality of physics teaching. Physics models play an important role in cultivating students’ abstract thinking and scientific literacy.Based on the related literature, this paper summed up the theory about the physics models and teaching, and have found these following problems:(1) It was not systematic about the model research;(2) The present physics teaching usually ignored the cognitive psychological experience when constructing the physics model;(3) Our emphasis on model was not enough at present.So, this paper focuses on discussing the classification of physics models in high school, and analyze the process of thinking changes during building physics models from the psychology. Through the questionnaire,I have studied the difficulties and confusion when the students solve the physics problems. Finally I design four typical cases :the application of physics models in the actual physical problems solving and physics College Entrance Examination, analysis of the comprehensive physics models and teaching case about cultivating high school students’ ability of physics modeling.Through the research, this paper draw these following conclusions:(1)The physics teaching in high school should pay close attention to the students’ modeling consciousness;(2) The physics teachers should attach importance to design the visual physical scene when in teaching;(3) Models teaching needs take into account the students’ thinking characteristics and cognitive level;(4) It should be a hierarchy when using the physics exercises to test the students’ migration ability of modeling.
