In recent years, with the new basic education curriculum reform unceasingly thorough, we pay more attention to the cultivation of emotional education of students, and emphasize emotional teaching methods to mobilize students’ affections, and stimulate the students’ learning initiative and creativity in the new curriculum, so as to improve the class teaching.This paper is based on the connotation of emotion teaching, and the necessity and significance of carrying out emotional education in ideological and political course of senior middle school are analyzed. And It is emphasized that the application of emotion teaching method is conducive to the successful development of ideological and political course in senior middle school, to stimulate students’ interests in learning, to build up an equal and harmonious teacher-student relationship, and achieve the goal of the high school ideological and political teaching.This paper also analyzes the problems of the ideological and political education in the application of emotional teaching, Such as we often pay attention to the teaching of knowledge, neglect the cultivation of emotion, at the same time, the teaching method mechanically, or underestimate the function of emotion education; on the other hand to pay attention to the students’ score and the standard of comprehensive, at the same time, the evaluation is a mere formality. This paper analyzed the reasons for the problems. And the countermeasure of the emotional teaching in the ideological and political application of senior middle school is put forward. Namely grasped the basic concept of emotional education, to identify high school students emotional education starting point, to enhance the emotional investment, to pay more attention to the discussion and evaluation of emotion education content, to stimulate students’ emotion, to carry out practical activities,and gave birth to the emotional experience and organization of classroom discussion, to enhance the students’ emotion, to build a full range of three-dimensional emotion education network.
