There exists such a special vendor group on Renmin Road in Dali ancient town. These people, who just want to find the most suitable way of life for themselves rather than make money. This paper mainly focuses on some vendors such as"Poet" Bei Hai,"Tramp" WongYong,"Performanceartist"ShuangTianChengEr,"Handicrafts"Yu Yang and Chen Yiting,"Vendor King" Hu Cheng etc. It aims to show the process of their interaction, integration and collision with Dali though their life experiences, reasons for coming to Dali, as well as their living and mental condition. In contrast to social mainstream culture, marginal culture and spirit of freedom make us thinking, and then give us enlightenment so that we can see social changes from another perspective.
