Ideological and political education is a class formation and countries with the practice, it means for the ruling class to cultivate successors of ideology and moral character. Because the purpose of the ideological and political education in the "education", is a kind of education practice, this requires that we must pay attention to its effectiveness. Middle school students are the future of the country, middle school students’ ideological and political quality of high and low is directly related to the country’s future development, and is particularly important for middle school students ideological and political education, but education is effective and how the effectiveness of education to measure also is an important part of ideological and political education work.The actual effect of ideological and political education for middle school students, refers to the school on the student to carry on the ideological and political education, the degree of the middle school students’ ideological and moral level and the effectiveness of ideological and political education. It concerns how effectively the students accepted the idea of ideological and political theory, to guide their actions. The author through sample survey of several middle school, found that the mainstream of the current middle school students’ideological and political situation is positive, healthy and upward, but there is also a problem that nots allow to ignore, these problems reflect the current middle school students’ ideological and political education effectiveness is not strong. The root cause there are three main aspects:one is the family education on scores and despising moral cultivation, Second is school work all around "scam","the university entrance exam" two big music, to the ideological and political education not value even ignored; Third, social structure changes, the influence of multicultural mutual reaction.For middle school students and improve the actual effect of ideological and political education, to explore practical and effective countermeasures:one is to establish and perfect fit for middle school students’ ideological and political education work characteristics of long-term management mode, to ensure that the work issue; The second is to explore middle school students’ ideological and political education effectiveness evaluation method, ensure the work to achieve the desired effect.
