With the rapid development of the economic globalization and the educationinternationalization, the present China has become the world’s largest exporter in a popular styleand at a younger age. There are remarkable differences between domestic and overseas inlanguages, customs, culture and life style. Students are easily influenced by bad thoughts andvalues such as western extreme individualism, utilitarianism, hedonism and so on. And thismight still put the talent security of our county, the ideological security, and even nationalsecurity at risk. Student’s national Identity not only has directly related to their political qualitybut also has a demonstration effect on oversea, which bring important influence on China’ssocialist construction and economic development.Overseas students play a bridge role in cultural exchange and a positive role in the shapingof national image; they constantly use practical actions to defend the interests of the state indangerous, and they be returned on time or in a variety of forms of service to the nation. With theadvance of globalization, increasing scale of overseas students, category of students diversified,education system mechanism construction lag and other reasons, national identity educationstudents also exist some problems, such as lack of a overall planning, imperfect content andunsatisfactory effect, etc.Since the founding in1949,the history it indicates that national identity education is animportant guarantee to achieve purpose of studying abroad. Selecting character is an importantpart of education;pre-training is an important opportunity;New carriers and methods make higheffectiveness of education. The development of national identity education career has beenpromoted by learning from the experience of other countries or regions. National identityeducation needs position in the perspective of national security. It needs build educational goalsof “an international perspective, the national feelings”. It also needs the Trinity process ofeducation and combine with the rule of law.In a word,national identity education of students is a systematic project and a long-termtask. It needs the government, society, family and the joint efforts of students personal. Therefore,it needs optimize institutional mechanisms, perfect the system of the education content, buildprocess system, complete the policy laws and innovate the education methods.
