Study On Current Status And Strategy For Archiving Management System Of The National Games

As sports industry develops rapidly, new opportunities and challenges are arising in the management of sport archives, especially for the management of archives from national games. With the rapid development of society and economy, sports activities, manifested by sports games, are becoming important parts of social activities. The National Game is a comprehensive sports game held in China, with the highest level of competition. The archives originated from it, reflect the features, levels and tendency of sports activities in China, with historical values in studying the history and development of sports activities in China. However, it starts relatively late in standardizing the management of archives from the National Game. It is relatively weak in theoretic study on the management of archives from the sports games, with rare important study results in the area. Currently, it remains still a blank in the study on the management of archives from the National Game in China. It lacks overall planning in the management of archives from the National Game, using different standards in managing archives from different serial number of the National Games. Problems such as different management levels still need to be resolved. Therefore, there are urgent needs to study the management of archives from the National Game. The purpose of the paper is to find out problems present in the archives management of national games and factors of such problems through retrospective and actual analysis of such archives, and to provide strategies and suggestions to solve them, by means of methodologies including literature-searching, on-site investigation method.It is concluded from the paper that archives management should be designed at top level and focused on early archives management. It should emphasize on integrity of monitoring and increasing the experience level of archiving professionals by training them. It is also necessary to establish basic systems of archives management. It is suggested from the paper that we should develop information sources of archives and increase the efficiency of sports archives energetically. We should push the procedures in establishing modernized and informative styles of archives management, and lower the pressure from warehouse archiving capacity. The paper aims to increase the archives management level of the National Game, to push the scientific, institutionalized and standardized procedures for the archives management of our national games, to provide systematic guidance on the management of archives from the National Game, thus benefiting national sports industry and social development.
