This paper is the theme of the father’s education ideas with the method ofself-report questionnaire investigation mainly.further to determine today’s father’seducation ideas, and its effects on children’s self-consciousness in primary school.The main content of this study includes the following three aspects:First, prepare the questionnaire about father’s education ideas.Through open andclosed questionnaire survey, using a reliability and validity test, prepare aquestionnaire about "father’s education ideas", which with a statistically reliable andeffective to investigate "father’s education ideas".Second, analyzing the characteristics of the father’s education ideas.using thequestionnaire of father’s education ideas, with165fathers as the subjects, analyze itsfather’s education ideas;Third, explore the influence that the father’s education ideas impact on children’sself-consciousness.We can get a result through the above research, which has made the research ofthe following three conclusions.First, in this study,after forecast and formal testing,the prepared questionnaireabout the father’s education ideas, include a total of22questions, contains six factors,such as "education frustration ","corporal punishment","award","educationachievement","genetic" and "expectations".questionnaire volume table and eachsubscales have reliability above medium level, with a good reliability and validity inthe overall structure.Second, father’s education ideas are different for children sex, the number of thechildren, also the father’s degree and the children belong to different grade.（1）Compared to girls, fathers would hold more corporal punishment educationideas to the boy.(2)The only child’s fathers on the factor of "reward" score significantly higheron average than that of not only child’s fathers, the not only child’s fathers score on thefactor "hope" significantly higher than that of the only child’s fathers. (3)Fathers who have finished primary education score significantly higher thanfathers who have finished the technical secondary education or high education on thefactor of "genetic", and score significantly higher than fathers who have graduatedfrom a college or above on the factor of "expectations".(4)Fathers whose children in the sixth grade score significantly higher than that ofchildren in the two grade and the fourth grade on the factor of "expectations".Third, father’s education ideas have influences on children’s self-consciousness:The father’s "education frustration" can reverse to predict children’sself-consciousness.The father’s "corporal punishment" can reverse to predict the children’s behaviors.The father’s "expectations" can reverse to predict children’s intellectual andschool.The father’s "education frustration "can reverse to predict children’s Peer relations.The father’s "education frustration "can reverse to predict happiness andfulfillment.According to above conclusion, this paper can rich the theory of father in thefamily education, this paper also can guide the practice of father family education andpromote the development of children’s self-consciousness.
