Comprehensive practice course is a practical course based on the students’ experienceand life,which asks students to study by researching.It aims to improve students`practicalability and innovative capability. The course has special value in the cause system.Whether the guidance from teachers is effective affects the course. By now some researchon teacher’s guidance in comprehensive practice course has been done in educationalresearch. But the problem of teachers’ guidance in practice and the factors affecting theeffectiveness of teachers’ guidance need further research. It can richen theoretical andpractical research on teacher-guidance.The research analyzes the research materials obtained by literature, and then takes theteachers of Comprehensive practice course from J middle school in Kunshan City as theresearch objects. Through interview, observation and so on, the research concludes theproblems of teachers’ guidance in the three stages, i.e. the preparation stage,implementation stage, and conclusion stage of practice course. The research concludes themain factors that would affect the efficiency of teacher-guidance by teachers and schoolanalysis, so that some feasible advice could be given.Studies have shown that the problems of teachers’ guidance in comprehensive practicecourse are the following. In the preparation stage, teachers can think of the interest ofstudents, but do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of students’ awareness on.Some teachers have not formulated guidance programs. The guidance becomes arbitrary.Teachers seldom guide students how to divide their learning group. The groups are notreasonable. In the implementation stage, teachers often guide too much. Teachers givefocuses on the collective guidance but ignore individual specific guidance. And in theconclusion stage, teachers’ guidance on how to share is single and evaluation of student development indicators is less clear.The research analyzes the reasons causing the problems, which are caused mainly byteachers, school and external factor. Teachers can’t know of comprehensive practice courseclearly. Teacher’s curriculum view is old. And abilities of teachers are not enough. Schoolcan’t control the course well. The system of evaluation hasn’t been made. Protectionmechanisms are not provided completely. The understanding and support of the outsideworld is not too good to teachers`guidance.Recommendations from two major aspects of instructor-effectiveness to teacher’sguidance, including the implementation of school teachers as well as supportstrategy.Teachers must first build the students’ awareness. And teachers should make theprogram how to guide and pay attention to the research step and methods. In school,schools should build the apartment to manage the course, make the program for the wholestudents to operate, strengthen cooperation and exchanges between the teachers; buildcomprehensive practical activities base.
