Objective and significance:Obesity has become a worldwide problem, the researches of selecting indicators of obesity, related diseases, measurement techniques and developing the cut-off point are paid more and more attention. In our existing evaluation system, BMI and WC are mainly used as indicators to screening for simple obesity, however, F%is the direct indicator which can reflect the degree of obesity, without authoritative and unified evaluation criteria in our country. The core question of evaluating simple obesity is how to find a suitable way considering the F%in the population distribution, but also the relationships with related diseases, cut-off point developed only on this basics is able to accurately evaluate obesity and reach the purpose of early prevention and maintaining healthy, which will have clinic value. This research with criterion of DEXA test results and with basis of comparison scientific between BIA measurement methods and techniques, further to evaluate simple obesity using the abnormal rate of blood indicators as the benchmark. Focus on the feasibility of the ROC curve and medical indicators used in the national physique monitoring by analyze the sensitivity and specificity of different F%cut-off point for the detection of abnormity in blood indicators, as well as ROC curve distance. Then develop reference cut-off point to screening for simple obesity by F%, and improve our simple obesity evaluation system.Subject and methods:We selected the healthy residents of Beijing who were20-69years old. The first experimental stage, we tested the subjects with BIA and DEXA. The second experimental stage, we selected alternative subjects, extracted their venous blood during they were fasting in the early morning to detect CRP and Four blood lipids and measured their F%with BIA after breakfast.Data process were conventional statistical methods, including difference and correlation analysis, ROC curve analysis methods and so on.Conclusion:1BIA can accurately evaluate FM and F%of adults and the elderly at the age of20to69, which is more accuracy when evaluating male than female and may underestimate female F%.2Combined medical indicators, using ROC curve analysis methods can be used to develop the cut-off point of F%.3The reference cut-off value to screen for simple obesity of adults and the elderly:male:overweight40%, obesity32.2%, female:overweight31.5%, obesity40%. |
