Since the mid-1990’s, with multimedia computers and networks are widely used in integrated mathematics education, integration of information technology and mathematics courses has became the trend of the mathematics curriculum reform in many countries, and characterization studies on diverse learning gradually went from psychological experiments to real classroom. Through the study of the cognitive model of multiple characterization study found that in the process of learning diverse characterize many cognitive operations are not likely to occur, and the involvement of information technology which can promote the occurrence of cognitive operations, play a role in improving cognitive processes. The first part of this article is to explain the source of research and theoretical foundation.on this basis we put forward the core concept of this article--research of learning of multiple representations of mathematics based on information technology support. Its purpose is to promote effective learning, improve the cognitive process. The second part of this article is the exploration about multiple representations of mathematics in the support of information technology. According to the cognitive model of learning of multiple representations proposed by Tang and the characteristics of information technology, to study how to use information technology to promote diverse learning process characterization produces some of the key cognitive operations from the perspective of structures, to improve cognitive processes and effective learning. The third part of this article is testing the results of theoretical research through the teaching and learning of the real classroom.
