Self-concept is the core element of personality structure, good self-conception is the internal factor of the healthy development of students. Important others is the one of the factor of promoting high students’ development of self-concept,which include parents,companions and class teacher etc.The purpose of the study was to explore and test specific strategies and methods of effectively promoting the development of high school students’good self-concept through the high school teachers’educational practice.The research completed the pretest questionnaire to the Fuzhou city high school students by using the method of questionnaire investigation and analyze the questionnaire result by using SPSS for Windows13software. Four key dimensions of the self-concept were the general school self, the self appearance, the emotional stability and the general self,which impacted development of good self-concept of students with low self-concept.set the group of low self-concept’ students as the experimental class, and set the group of middle self-concept’ students as the referential class.There is a big difference in the four key dimensions between the experimental class and the reference class.analyzed causes.Starting from three key dimensions of the general school self, the emotional stability self and the general self,high school class teacher designed and implemented specific strategies of class teacher helping the group of low self-concept students to promote he development of good self-concept.Class teacher intervened the experimental class in the form of series of class meetings by using of the experimental method, which verified the effectiveness of specific strategies to promote the development of self-concept.and summarized the effective strategy.
