This article aims at discussing the current situation of Fujian mathematics scholars’ secondary teaching and research ability and the enhancing approaches, some results was received by Journal of Mathematics Education.This paper aims at revealing the current situation of Fujian mathematics scholars’ secondary teaching and research ability, and exploring the methods of improving the secondary mathematics teaching and research ability in a comprehensive and complete way. With the use of the bibliometrics methods, this article analysizes the secondary mathematics teaching and research theses which are included in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI) and VIP between the year2008to2012, and illustrates the number of published paper, the authors’ region and the place of work, the cooperation between authors, the productive authors, the core authors, etc. Under the above analysis, it is found that the research depth, breadth and strength of Fujian mathematics scholars are still waiting to be improved in the field of secondary mathematics teaching and research. Besides, the scholars of high-level research ability is greatly insufficient. Therefore, through the online interviews with the productive authors, and summarizing, communicating, learning and introspecting the secondary mathematics teaching and research experience in the aspects of the goals, procedures and leading role of teaching and research, this paper tries to discuss the ways of leading the secondary mathematics teachers into the road of teaching and research, and the methods to improve their teaching and research ability. |
