Track and field technique course is the essential part in the integral construction of teaching process. As the foundation course in sports universities, it is the basic element in teaching process and is the main attribution of success and failure. With the deepen of modem teaching reform, physical educators are dedicated to find out the new method that could improve quality of teaching and student’s professional quality effectively. Even though the technical measures in the courses are increasingly diversified, according to research, most of the reform and innovation did not reach the expected result. One of the main reasons is how to make students or instructed ones to understand and accept the teaching method. It is a big challenge to all physical workers that how to invent a more effective method in track and field courses in ordinary advanced physical education universities.Nowadays, coaches are still using the conventional teaching methods in practical process, However, the growing trend is modern teaching methods could enrich the content and students are capable to understand the course details from plane to stereoscopic and from static to motion. Have increased interest in teaching of initiative and adequately.The paper has studied teaching effective, teaching objective, teaching method and organization by using quick motion and speed rhythm as core teaching pattern by different methods in a meticulous and deep going way. The methods include document literature, expert interviewing, experimentation, questionnaire survey, logical analysis and mathematical statistics. Meanwhile, it has analyzed differences between the conventional method and the method initiated above.In practical, the thesis is based on a large number of documents, taking the long jump teaching as entry point, divided2classes (male members) in2011grade into4experimental classes, combing with the characteristics of track and field by using interviewing method and questionnaire survey. Two of calsses take quick motion and speed rhythm as core teaching pattern while the other two take conventional pattern. After5weeks experiment, we could draw the following conclusion based on statistics and logical analysis of experimental data, which is taking quick motion and speed rhythm as core teaching pattern could strengthen the specific fitness, fasten the process the to master speed and rhythm of movement and improve the ability to grasp various technical aspects. And teacher for each student to the feedback of each technology tache,can quickly find your reason for the error and correct in time.
