Since the Shanghai universities put forward the concept of "dormitory culture" in the1980’s, the study of college dormitory culture construction have sprung up.The "campus culture" achieved hot spot over a period of time for universities and colleges in the country.Some colleges and universities have made some progress in how to construct campus culture,and provides the empirical data for reference to other colleges and universities.Dormitory culture is also constantly adding new connotation has a new meaning with the times change.Xinjiang located in the frontier of the motherland,it is a zone where multi-ethnic, religion,culture collide with each other. At the same time facing the complex environment at home andabroad.Colleges and universities in xinjiang for the training talents for our country especially in the west,maintaining social stability and harmony of the frontier, promoting national unity and mutual assistance.Therefore,to enhance the actual effect of ideological and political educationof xinjiang universities is self-evident.As the collection and distribution center,college students study,live,communication together in dormitory.The dormitory is an important platform of ideological collision,communication and personality training. Also is the important carrier of carrying out ideological and political education in colleges and universities.As an important part of campus culture,the dormitory culture is the epitome of social culture and the extension of family environment. In recent years,with some universities actively promote “people live with han” project construction in xinjiang,In the aspect of national unity education has obtained certain achievement.This also fully confirmed the importance and urgency of playing to the positive of dormitory as the third class.In this paper,College students in xinjiang group as the research object under the background of Minorities and Han living together in xinjiang Universities.combination of quantitative research and qualitative research as the basic method，drawing on the theory of pedagogy,psychology,management and other related disciplines,put forward the coping strategies about the construction of the dormitory culture of Minorities and Han living together in Universities in xinjiang.The main results are as follows:Firstly,Through the factor analysis and model testing,“the dormitory culture questionnaireabout settlement pattens of ethnic and minorities and han living together in universities” had good reliability and validity. It consists of3main factors, surface culture,middle culture, deep culture. It can be used as a sort of measuring tool.Secondly,The reality the dormitory culture about settlement pattens of ethnic and minoritiesand han living together in universities were all right collectivity.surface culture,the overall situation is good and show some convergence；middle culture，Spiritual way of life is very healthy,collective consciousness is strong；deep culture，The sense of dormitory belonging is stronger,but there are differences on nation.Thirdly,The dormitory culture about settlement pattens of ethnic and minorities and han living together in universities Presents a certain difference in demography.There were differencesamong genders,grade,nationality,standard of making friends in dormitory,contradiction handling indormitory. girls were better than boys;Grade junior students had the highest scores;The condition of Mongolian college students is superior to other ethnic college students;The condition ofa equal proportion about Han and ethnic is best;Regardless of nationality,make friends with interest as the standard who can be able to deal with the contradiction to the dormitory is best.
