Since elementary education curriculum reform implemented over the years, chemistry teachers in high school has been trying to pursue the effectiveness of classroom teaching. The teaching concept, teaching methods and teaching evaluation have changed significantly. Although a lot of researches about the effectiveness of classroom teaching at home and abroad, there’s still has no systematic, strong operational tools. Chang-long Zheng, who is in Northeast Normal University, has put forward the theory of plate and CPCP model. On this basis, CPUP model of chemical classroom teaching system was put forward. This series of model provides quantitative and intensification of thought and method for the chemical classroom teaching content and teaching behavior research. At the same time, it also provides a new angle for the research of chemistry classroom teaching effectiveness. Go into the chemistry classroom, and root in chemistry class teaching, we can carry on a deep analysis on the chemical classroom teaching content and teaching activities of behavior, then find out the intrinsic rules, evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the chemistry classroom teaching.The study uses two theoretical model of CPUP system model:CPUP content model and CPUP activity model. Building the CPUP content model and the CPUP activity model of the cases of the high quality class and the normal class, on the basis of chemical classroom teaching effectiveness evaluation standard, compare the results of analysis. So we can study the classroom teaching effectiveness of the quality class. The article is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is introduction. It mainly elaborates the background of the research. Then it introduces the present situation at home and abroad about the effectiveness of classroom teaching. This chapter also introduces the main contents, the object and the methods of this study.The second chapter defines the teaching effectiveness and CPUP system model of chemistry classroom teaching; and structure the theoretical framework.The third chapter analyses the content and effectiveness of the "primary battery" classroom teaching based on the CPUP content model;The fourth chapter are the analysis of classroom teaching behavior characteristics of the "primary battery" and its effectiveness based on the CPUP activity model;The fifth chapter is the conclusion of this study and enlightenment.This study is based on classroom observation. The research object is the first prize of the high-quality class competition of Wuhan in 2013, and a normal class of an ordinary middle school in Wuhan as the auxiliary contrast group. The content of the two classes are "primary battery" on the chemistry elective 4 of PEP edition. By the means of observing and recording the two classes of classroom teaching, we analysis and compare the effectiveness of the quality class according to the theory of CPUP system model.
