A Study On The Effect Of Ideological And Political Education In Employability Training Of Contemporary University Students

With the further development of economic globalization, the problem of employment has become the focus of global attention. Domestic and international researches on the employability issue have been carried out along with the globalization. There is no unified understanding among domestic and overseas scholars, since their study perspectives and research fields are different. Currently in China, the employment issues become increasingly prominent due to the expanding scale of students enrollment.At present, domestic and overseas scholars have put forward some countermeasures from the perspective of strengthening ideological and political education during the process of university students’ employment. But, the employability is one of the fundamental elements that influence the employment of university students. However, domestic studies specially on the effect of ideological and political education in employability training of university students is not common, which needs further study. This study takes Guangxi University of Finance Economics as an example, studying the effect of ideological and political education in employability training of university students by conducting an investigation on the current status of employability of university students in employers and university students.Firstly, by reading the experts and scholars’monographs, an in-dept understanding can be achieved on the connotation of the ideological and political education, and by referring to such documents as involving in the employment capability, guidance and occupational career planning for the university students at home and abroad, the concept and structure of employability can be defined. Secondly, in order to make the study more scientific, this study combines the actual working conditions based on the principles and requirements of questionnaire preparation and takes the Guangxi University of Finance and Economics as an example. Through an investigation on the employers and students with the aid of distributing questionnaires to them, the current situation of students’employability and the role of ideological and political education in the employability training can be made clearer, which gives a data reference for preparing the thesis. Finally, a normative analysis is conducted in respect of the internal correlation between the employability and ideological and political education. According to the data provided from questionnaires, this study analyzes the reasons for the insufficiency of university students’employability and finds out the basis for bringing the role of ideological and political education into play during the employability training. From three aspects of optimizing environment, enriching contents and innovative approaches, countermeasure and suggestion can be put forward for developing the role of ideological and political education in the university students’employability training.
