Under the background of new curriculum standard, the domestic research mostly investigated on whether teachers? feedback can promote students’ learning motivation and less on the influence of homework feedback. From the perspective of homework feedback, the purpose of this thesis is to research the influence of English homework feedback on affect of students in senior high school.On the basis of Humanism and Krashen’s Affective Filter Hypothesis,this study chooses 500 students and 9 teachers of Chengde No.1 Senior High School as the research subjects. The present study aims to find out(1) What types of English homework feedback do teachers frequently provide in Senior High school English?(2) Which kinds of English homework feedback are popular on students in senior high school?(3) What are the influences of English homework feedback on affect of students in senior high school? This thesis employs two research instruments: questionnaire and interview. Quantitative analysis of the questionnaire is done by means of the software of SPSS 21.0. Qualitative analysis of interview is analyzed by transcription in English. By means of analysis and discussion to questionnaire and interview, this thesis investigates the existing problems, puts forward certain suggestions and helps the teachers find more efficient way so as to enhance students? learning.According to findings in the investigation, the thesis brings up some pedagogical implications:(1) Mastering characteristic of every forms of homework feedback and adopting the flexible form of homework feedback to inspire students;(2) Considering the individual difference among students;(3) Establishing a scientific evaluation system and strengthening implicit evaluation;(4) Adopting the encouraging evaluation and positive feedback;(5) Guiding students? timely feedback;(6)Enhancing emotion exchange and avoiding anxiety;(7)Grasping rich theory knowledge of foreign language teaching. The analysis and results of the research will provide reference for further research on homework feedback towards affect.
