The Comparison Research Of Hong Kong And Mainland`general Education Curriculum In Physical Health

General education, which originates from the ancient Greek, it called "liberal education". in 1940 s, our domestic scholars applied it to practice in China. Hong Kong as a window of China has leading the change, so,Hong Kong has more experiences than mainland,it worth mainland to pay attention.This article use the literature material law, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics,comparative analysis, case study method, the result of the research from the general education development course, Hong Kong and the mainland general education curriculum goals, general education curriculum in Hong Kong and the mainland, etc are discussed in this paper, the analysis of the general education curriculum in Hong Kong and the mainland university general education curriculum goal and set up different, thus it is concluded that both in the pros and cons of the implementation of general education curriculum, give enlightenment on the mainland university general education curriculum implementation. The results of the study are as follows:1. Since the 1980 s, Hong Kong universities gradually set up the general education courses, and they have their respective characteristic of universities increasingly development of general education courses. Due to the restriction of the objective factors, the implementation of general education environment in colleges and universities and lacking in overall is still in exploring stage.2. The Hong Kong general education curriculum goals and requirements of extensive knowledge and contacts, take diverse interdisciplinary approach and encourage students to self and to express themselves, and the mainland is more focus on cultural quality in professional education of infiltration and supplement and correct aspect of knowledge.3. From the two major required courses elective credits set and course form,mainland university sports education major general education course setting is more inclined to the category of sports science, university of Hong Kong focuses,more non-professional sports course.4. Look from the practice of the dual mode, Hong Kong on the general education curriculum in colleges and universities have distinguishing feature each,so can their courses according to their own learning, and mainland universities due to insufficient,the general education attaches great importance to the layer understanding of the concept of general education also stay at the relatively shallow level, so the implementation is not thorough enough.5. Combined with the implementation of general education can be seen in both the general education curriculum have distinguishing feature each, in view of the Hong Kong general education development more mature, there are many worthy of mainland universities reference to mainland universities only put general education in the important position, establish and improve the general education curriculum system to the mainland to ensure there is a good implementation in general education..
