High continual education is an important part of lifelong education, it is also one of China’s higher education, has prepared a number of qualified personnel for the society, however, in recent years, have met some new problems, of which two of the more important issues are:on the one hand, the adults’ motivation to participating the high continual education presents a weakening trend, on the other hand, the learners’ learning motivation of high continual education presents a weakening trend. This paper attempts to investigate factors which hinder adults from participating the high continual education and the present situation of the learners’ learning motivation who involved in high continual education, the learner’s learning behavior and the factors which influence on learners’ satisfaction to high continual education. Then propose the strategies which about adults’ motivation to participate in high continual education. And discuss questions from four chapters:The first part is Introduction. Elaborated the research origin, the research significance, and stated the domestic and foreign literature relevant to the subject of this study, so as to define the problem of this study. First of all, reviewed the classification of adult learning motivation, in order to provide investigate learners’ learning motivation of high continual education with operational concept framework; then summarize the influencing factors of adults’ learning motivation, for the sake of provide investigate the factors which influence on learners’ satisfaction to high continual education with operational concept framework; finally, reviewed the factors that hinder adult from participating the high continual education, in order to provide investigate the factors that hinder adult from participating the high continual education with operational concept framework. At the same time, illustrates the research idea, research methods and research framework of this study, in addition, it’s defined the relevant definition.The second part is the analysis about theory of adults’ learning motivation. It’s reviewed the theory of adults’ learning motivation, so that lay the foundation, which for the sake of propose the strategy about how to inspire the adults’motivation to participating the high continual education.The third part is the survey and analysis about motivation status of adults participate in the high continual education. This chapter adopt questionnaire method, it’s investigated the adults’ motivation type to participating the high continual and learning behavior and the factors which influence learners’ satisfaction on high continual education learning, at the same time, it’s analysis the issue and reason about adults’motivation. In order to provide the strategies what inspire the adults’ motivation to participating the high continual education with practice foundation.The forth part is the investigation about the factors that hinder adults from joining high continual education. It’s also adopt questionnaire method, and choose the employed adults who are not involved in any high continual education, then investigate the factors which hinder them form joining high continual education. For the sake of provide put forward of adult participation in high continual education motivation strategies with practice basis.The fifth part is the main strategies about arousing the motivation of adult join in the high continual education. This chapter stick to the above theoretical basis and the survey result,from the society and government, the schools and the teachers aspects,and put forward the strategy about inspire adults’motivation that participate in high continual education. From the government and society aspect, we think that the government policy guidance, positively develop community education, integrate social forces. From the schools level, including optimizing the high continual education management mode, combine the curriculum provision combine with adult learners’ life, enhance on the construction of teaching staff of the high continual education, make full use of high-tech to change teaching methods. From the teachers level, include to establish the adults’sense of belonging, develop adults’positive learning attitude.
