Along with the rapid development of modern information technology and the openness of mobile communication technology as well as communication media, the micro-blog, Wechat, micro-fiction, micro-film in the form of "micro" mode have become the mainstream of the times. In this "micro-era", most middle school students have mobile digital products and smart phones, so education has the responsibility to guide the students effectively use the electronic products to assist learning. "Micro-course" emerges as a new teaching resource which has significant meaning to the school and social education. Education department, education scholars pays high attention to’Micro-course", also the first-line teachers and experts participates in the exploration, education department of all levels hold micro-course competition, some online education companies are involved in the construction of micro-course resources, micro-class platform which emerges a number of high quality micro-course resources and raises a storm of "micro-course heat" of all social circles.This study combined theory and practice, used specific research methods of literature, questionnaire survey, comparative analysis and etc. I carefully combed the current research status of micro-course, and proceeded thematic investigation and comparative analysis of the views of micro-course design, production, application and construction of the first-line geography teachers, middle school students and geography normal students to have clear understanding of the current development status of Guangxi geography micro course, identify the common problems which the middle school geography teachers encountered in the micro course. Also I determinedly analyzed the three-largest micro course resource platforms both at home and aboard for providing reference of developing high quality micro-course, completing micro-course systems, improving micro-course efficiency.Main content of this study can be summarized in six parts:Part I:Investigated the research background and research current situation of micro-course, raised questions, research significance and methods, defined micro-course concept, and used the micro-learning theory and individualized learning theory as a theoretical foundation.Part II:Referred to the ranking standard of micro-course contest, expert opinion and advice to design questionnaire for geography teachers, middle school students and geography normal students., then released it by network.Part III:It is about questionnaire data analysis. Analyzed the cognition, design, and making and application of micro course of the geography teachers, got into deep understanding of the ideas and concept of the micro course builders and the problem and difficulty they encountered in the process of developing micro course; analyzed the middle school students’learning status, learning preferences and views of micro course, analyzed the necessity and rationality of applying micro course from the angle of beneficiary; analyzed the geography normal students’concern and skills of micro course, Acknowledged the training status of the normal students’teaching skills in the college.Part IV:Through comparing the course setting, teaching forms, practice test, evaluation mechanism, learning track and terminal support between micro course network and Khan Academy to find the construction gap between the domestic learning oriented platform and the one in aboard; and then analyzed the micro course of micro course network in the aspects of its presentation way, content, types, discipline distribution, geographical differences and grade distribution.Part V:Through analyzing the three groups of teachers, middle school students and geography normal students to get a result that the popularity, performance expectations of micro course is high, courses quantity is abundant and mobile learning is convenient. However, there are stand out problems in micro course which is the training is not strong, course material is in shortage, course production is lack of guidance, and teaching in colleges and universities is break away from the front line teaching.Part VI part:Basing on the analysis of current situation, to propose related optimization strategy to various groups for micro course development: education administrative sector should strengthen the training guidance to front line geography teachers and geography normal students, increase fund inputs and promotion efforts for micro course, integrate micro course resources and perfect the platform construction; education enterprise should promote the terminal device, strengthen the cooperation with education administrative sector to expand the sources of micro course resources, refer to Khan Academy to perfect the evaluation mechanism; school should regularly carried out training to improve teachers’ skills, establish school resources platform. Through effectively apply and research micro course to promote micro course construction; the mainstay of micro course construction of is teachers, teachers should actively learn micro course, understand the development process and principles of micro course, share out the work and help one another, and work together to push the development of micro course, while constantly upgrading personal professional skills, set up right using concept of micro course; for college, it should strengthen modern education technology and skills training, strengthen joint training of middle school teaching; normal students should enhance career consciousness, consciously master latest teaching skills to adapt the talent’s needs.Due to the level of research and time constraints, there are shortcomings in this study, but I hope the data and conclusions can help to promote the development of micro course.
