This essay consistsof introduction, body paragraph and conclusion.Based on the investigation of several high school students in Xilinhotarea, teachers and my own teaching class students’ interview, I understand the basic situation of the high school students’ writing and explore its guidance method. This paper which emphasized the combination of theory and practice draws on the experience of some famous teacher’s and also combined with my own teaching experience. The introduction presents the reason of choosing this topic, research scope, purpose and meaning. In the first part of the text, I mainly introduced the necessity of writing teaching and the basic situation of students’ writing. It illustrates the importance of senior high school students’ writing. According to the investigation of several school students’ weak writing ability and the understanding of their situation, I further understand the causes and the need to improving place. The second part, according to the students’ weak writing ability, I mainly proposed my own viewpoint which is to cultivate the sense of language,practice, the basic skill of writing, revisions and comments on their composition.
