A Research On The Rural Neighborhood Relationship Status

This paper is building on the investigation of Zhai Niu Wan Village in Kangning Town Shanxi province. The overall situation of the neighborhood relationship is summarized from analyzing the content,the space and the way of the neighborhood communication,which is also taken as the breakthrough point.Otherwise the aspects of the economic and social environment factors affecting the neighborhood relations in Zhai Niu Wan Village,are considered and analyzed. Finally some related theories are used to make simple explainations of the neighborhood relations.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter gives an overview of the case in details, mainly including geography, history,economic development and cultural conditions.In addition,the compositions and characteristics of the neighborhood relations in Zhai Niu Wan Village are carriede on the summary, setting a stage for the current situation of the relations between neighborhood in the next chapter.The second chapter is divided into three sections,from the communication content,space and communication objects,it’s finding that the current neighborhood contacts in Zhai Niu Wan Village are based on the union of the geography and blood, and also on the combination of the development of the market economy with the industry and interest tie.content of the communication is divided into the daily human relations and ritual human contacts, which mainly relates to the life, production and building houses.The ceremony of interpersonal relationship mainly describes the wedding and funeral and important festivals among some neighborhood communication.Through the special communicative content in special period, the neighborhood relations are given the introduction.The contact space is mainly concentrated in the living and entertainment space. In addition to the indoor chat,living space is dropped into the shared things, such as well,sewer, road ect.The way ofthe communication is more depending on modern mobile phone and network,but less on the message and fixeed telephone contact.The third chapter analyzes the influencing factors of the neighborhood relations in Zhai Niu Wan Village, including economic factors and social environment.In the economy, the improvement of the productivity, the diversification of the mode of the production,provides the guarantee for the villagers’ income.The economic independence also makes the villagers have more freedom of choices in interpersonal relations,but the mutual exchanges between life and production is greatly reduced, no longer considering the favor standards, only using money to calculate.In the social environment,urban and rural integration introduces the modern culture into Zhai Niu Wan Village, so the trational culture in Zhai Niu Wan Village meets the collision with modern culture which also impactes the trational concepts,the choice of the behavior of villagers,especially in the neighborhood contacts. Different occupation brings together different crowd,the higher the homogeneity within group is, the more common topic is existing,which makes the resident adjacent groups increase and the common topic reduce. Population mobility has led to the dispersion of Zhai Niu WanVillage staff. For the long distance between the isolated people and the outflow makes less face-to-face contact,and the psychological distance is going further.To a certain degree,these place obstacles between neighborhood.Finally, the summary carefully explains the pattern of the different sequence between the trational neighborhood contacts and the rational choice of the modern neighboehood contancs,which using the related theories.
