The foundation of the teaching work in kindergartens depends on the trust between teachers and parents. It can not only affects the quality of teacher-child relationships, but also indirectly have influence on children’s physical and mental development. Currently, a basic fact of the society is the lack of trust leads to trust crisis, therefore, the paper focuses on the trust between preschool teachers and parents and analyzes the factors affecting their trust.Based on the results of previous studies, the study use " questionnaire in preschool teachers and parents’trust " (the teachers’questionnaire and the parents’questionnaire). The paper explores the trust situation between preschool teachers and parents, using the sample survey among 115 teachers and 796 parents of 13 kindergartens in Guilin. The data statistics indicate that parents have the high level of trust in preschool teachers and preschool teachers also have high level of trust in parents. On the basis of this, the study analyzes the differences of the trust between preschool teachers and parents in the areas of kindergarten nature, location, education background, grade, gender, seniority and other demographic variables. The results shows as following:there is significant difference of parents trust in preschool teachers between the public kindergartens and the private kindergartens. The distinguishing is due to the difference between the quality of kindergarten and the teacher resource; there is remarkable difference of parents’ trust in preschool teachers in urban and rural areas. This result is not only because of the difference between the quality of kindergarten and the teacher resource between urban and rural ares, but also the number of kindergartens in those areas, especially the lack of high-quality kindergartens in the rural areas; The child’s relatives have lower level of emotional trust in preschool teachers than the child’s parents and grandparents because of the less communication between the child’s relatives and preschool teachers; The parents graduated from junior high school have lower level of trust in preschool teachers than those parents with a higher degree, and parents with income of less than 3000 yuan per month have lower level of trust in preschool teachers. The main reason is the different understanding of early childhood education between parents and preschool teachers; parents of children in the bottom grades and middle grades have higher trust in teachers than the parents of children in top grades, probably because of top class children are in the period of transition from infancy to pupilage, parents and preschool teachers on educational concepts, perspectives of educational content are more inconsistent during this period.; Transferred children’s parents have lower level of emotional trust in teachers compared with the other children’s parents, the reason is that the Transferred children’s parents’trust in teachers is influenced by the ex-teachers;Preschool teachers who are 25-30 years old have lower level of trust in parents compared with the other teachers,25-30 years old preschool teachers are in the professional development period from "survival concern" to "Task concern" professional, who face greater occupational stress; Because of the less communication involved in the education of child between the child care workers and parents, the child care workers’ trust level in parents’ knowledge and skill is higher than the preschool teachers’; There’s no correlation between the parents’ trust in preschool teachers and the preschool teachers’ trust in parents. By stepwise regression analysis, this study found that the nature of the kindergarten, parents" personal capital, classes for children have greater overall predictive power on parents trust in teachers. Because the level of preschool teachers’trust in parents are more balanced, there’s no variables enter into the regression equation. On the basis of the survey, some preschool teachers and parents were interviewed, the interview confirmed the conclusions above. In addition, through the interviews, we found that, although the trust between preschool teachers and parents tend to be high, but it was not stable, the high level of trust between preschool teachers and parents is easily influenced by special events. Finally, the study in-depth analysis the trust and its influencing factors between preschool teachers and parents. In the background of social trust crisis, the high level of trust beteen preschool teachers and parents, is due to the high inherent authority of preschool teachers, the positive and optimistic attitude of preschoolteachers’ and parents’, the relatively high level of parents’ private capital, and the good interraction between prescool teachers and parents. However, due to the children is a link of trust between preschool teachers and parents, the high level of trust between preschool teachers and parents showed the characteristics of vulnerable affected by children and unstable, therefore, this study proposes some suggestions to improve the trust level between preschool teacnnhers and parents.
