This paper, based on the study on certain collected South Korean students’speech drafts, analysis what Chinese textual cohesive devices do South Korean high school students commonly use:lexical cohesion, grammar cohesion, logic device and figures of speech cohesion, and each of which is divided in detail. By exploring the percentage of wrongly using textual cohesive devices in the Chinese speech, this article finds out that the error rate of grammar cohesion is the highest, and logic cohesion is the lowest. Besides, it also discovers that the figures of speech cohesion is the most common used one. Then, it analysis the cause of the above phenomenon from the aspect of negative transfer from mother tongue, the negative impact of teachers, the problem existed in the teaching textbooks and the students themselves. At last, to make the South Korean students better master the Chinese textual cohesive devices, this paper puts forward that the sense of discourse should be strengthened, the teaching textbooks should be improved, and the teaching of textual cohesive devices should be added into the classroom teaching.This paper is mainly made up of bellowing five chapters:The first chapter talks about the objective and meaning of this article. Then it presents the previous studies on textual cohesive and the practical application of textual cohesive into teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second chapter, based on South Korean high school students’Chinese speech drafts. concludes the most commonly used Chinese textual cohesive devices, which are lexical cohesion. grammar cohesion, logic device and figures of speech cohesion, and each of which is divided in detail.The third chapter studies the errors of textual cohesive devices appeared in the Chinese speech drafts and analysis the reason of them and the way to correct them.The fourth chapter concludes the reason of why South Korean students wrongly use these Chinese textual cohesive devices and gives some suggestions from teachers, teaching textbooks and other aspects.The fifth chapter summarizes this paper’s study and analyze.
