Along with new curriculum reform unceasingly thorough, reforming and innovating physical education methods is becoming explore research problem in secondary school physical education in order to satisfy the requirements of secondary school physical education development and improve quality of teaching. As one of the teaching contents of secondary school, aerobics is popular with students because of its features and the value of exercise. However, most of secondary schools applied traditional aerobics teaching method, it could not satisfy the current education development due to its teaching method single and inflexible and limitation and lack of vigor.Modularity teaching has achieved certain results in the physical education and in the use of aerobics teaching is few,and lack of system research. This essay regards the experimental for secondary school aerobics teaching as research subject, and it using following methodologies to implement theoretical and practical research: literature review, interviews, questionnaires, mathematical statistics, logical analysis, and comparative analysis of experimental research methods in order to promote aerobics teaching and improve quality of teaching,enrich aerobics teaching method and has theoretical and practical significance.The following paragraphs show the result of this research:1. There is an result of practical research that modularity teaching method is better than traditional teaching method, attitude, interests and academic performance of students which are applied modularity teaching method are slightly better than the control group. It illustrates that modularity teaching method is a good teaching method, it can be suitable for aerobics teaching.2. The efficiency of Modularity teaching method for aerobics is obvious better than the control group in the following aspects: movement dynamics, range of motion, posture, movement control and action creating capacity. And it shows that there is a significant difference between modularity teaching method group and the control group.3. The applying range of modularity teaching method for aerobics should focus on the aerobics teaching objectives, give full consideration to’ student-centered and teacher-led’ and stimulate students’ interest in learning to implement designing; it also should be followed a systematic, comprehensive, individualized principle.4. The applying method for modularity teaching method should divide teaching content into several parts: extracting from each module consists of a single action to the joint action of teaching, extracting from each module from simple to complex motion action teaching, the transition from single to joint action movements normative teaching, action from union to complete set teaching and the practice for action from slow to fast-paced.
