The Study On The Academic Research Competitiveness Of SiChuan Local Colleges And Universities

At present, the developing of local colleges and universities is facing great challenges and opportunities, and their most urgent task is to improve the academic research competitiveness. In fact, the competition among local colleges and universities is the teaching quality, research level and ability of serving the society. Academic research competitiveness is the core competitiveness of local colleges and universities, and the level of it determines the developing direction and prospects of developing of local economy, and they should also positive to innovation the scientific research management system, so as to improve their academic research competitiveness in the provincial social scientific achievement awards.The paper, based on value theory and theory of competitive advantage, analyzing the academic research competitiveness conditions of Sichuan local colleges and universities, which from the perspective of significance of social scientific achievement awards. From the research I find that the academic research competitiveness of local colleges and universities have a little improved in recent years, but also exist the flowing problems. Firstly, award-winning quality is low and also short of elaborate Achievements. Secondly, key discipline advantage is not prominent. Thirdly, scientific research talents are not enough. Fourthly, the innovation of scientific research platform is not good. Fifthly, high level projects are lack of. Aiming at previous problems, I propose recommendations and countermeasures from the aspects of teachers troop, discipline construction, scientific research platform construction and so on. So as to promote competitiveness and play a certain reference function on local colleges and universities.
