| With the rapid development of the economy, current university students undertake more burdens from society, family and themselves. How to educate the students with good social adaptation becomes one of the hot topics of the Chinese universities. Therefore, the universities boldly develop a new mode of student education and administration--college system of Chinese Characteristics, combining the residential college system of international world class universities and the Chinese realities in order to take reforms in Chinese higher education to train talents adapting to the social development. Since psychological health administration is one of the significant components of university student affairs, most sectors of the societies pay more attention to how to take full advantages of college system to develop a more efficient psychological health education and administration system, which will facilitate the overall healthy development of university students.A number of scholars have studied the college system or psychological health administration from different aspects. However, none of them have studied the two aspects as a whole. It should be admitted that there is lack of systemic and feasible theory to support the psychological health administration mode targeted to the university students under the college system. Therefore, the thesis analyzes and compares cases of domestic and abroad universities, creatively study the psychological health education under college system of a Xi’an university, from the aspects of the advantages of college system, the psychological health administration’s organization, personnel, theory system, facility, and student participation percentage to find out the disadvantages and problems and propose reasonable suggestions.The thesis comprised of five parts. In the part of Introduction, the author proposes research questions, theory and policy bases as well as research methodology. The first Chapter is to build a basic research framework, including definitions of college system, psychological health and psychological health education, literature review of relative studies, and the deficiency. In the second Chapter, the author studies the current status and problems of the psychological health education of Chinese universities under college system. After comparing with the situations of abroad universities of residential college system, he finds out the possible approaches to improve Chinese psychological health education of university students. The third Chapter is the case analysis on psychological health education of a Xi’an university with college system. It reveals the advantages originated from college system to the psychological health education, and disadvantages based on the data and conversations. In the fourth Chapter, the author proposes solutions to the improvement of psychological health education based on the overall situation analysis and case analysis in chapter two and three. |
