Research Of The Ideological And Political Educating Functions Of Unversity Campus Culture

University campus culture is an important part of advanced socialism culture and also an effective supporter of university ideological and politica l education. Enriching university campus culture so as to improve its educa ting function is the strong demand of the healthy and fast progress of univ ersity education and of the cultivation of high quality youths. Furthermore,it is also the demand of promoting the “soft power” of Chinese culture a nd of the propagation of the national culture and spirit. In the new history environment, understanding and developing the educating function of the c ampus culture is a theoretical and practical meaningful question. Therefore,a fundamental research of the ideological and political educating function of the campus culture is done. In the present research, we first discussed a bout the intension and extension of culture and campus culture. A deep un derstanding of the concept is the fundamental of the successful research. T herefore, the first part of this research is the recommendation of the conce pt of culture and campus culture and the investigation of the status and di fficulties of this theme around the world. Second, we investigated the cha racteristics and functions of the campus culture. Third, we introduced the r elation between the campus culture and the ideological and political educati on in order to understand the necessity of the construction of the campus culture. And finally, we designed the approaches of the educating function of the campus culture.
