In recent years, with the development of science and technology, the network media, mobile media, and digital TV are developing rapidly. Because of it’s convenient, interactive and autonomy, It has become the high popularity means of transmission. It is more convenient for people to obtain information. Teaching is the main process of providing information resources. The new media technology achieves the interactive language teaching model. The interactive teaching activity not only make teachers get timely feedback, analysis of the teaching process effectively, and provides basic conditions for students’ autonomous learning. The new teaching model of integration of IT and teaching has become the hotspot and focus of China’s education at present. It is urgent for us to study the strategy of new media and effective integration of classroom teaching.Based on the questionnaire survey analysis, study in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei individual secondary vocational schools, the author analyzes the status and existing problems of secondary vocational English teaching.Through the study of the subject, we can enrich English education teaching model in secondary vocational schools, cultivate students’ autonomous learning approach and strategy. We can provide referential model of action for the sustainable development of secondary vocational education, in order to promote the formation of students’ comprehensive ability to learn.This dissertation mainly points out four parts:The first part: introduction. Discuss the background, research purpose, significance of the research, research ideas, research methodologies, and literature review at home and abroad on secondary vocational English teaching under the background of new media.The second part: summary of the use of new media of the students and teachers in secondary vocational schools. In seven schools and colleges of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei province, the questionnaire survey is conducted among 157 students. At the same time, the author interviews 17 teachers and students about these questions.The third part: the experiments and analysis of utilizing of new media of the students in secondary vocational schools. Respectively in Hengshui Technology Engineering School, two classes of students are made a short-term experiment. On the basis of the original introduction of new media teaching model, No.1 class another teaches with traditional teaching model. Give a test for two classes after the original short-term. According to the test results and performance at ordinary times, further explore and confirm the new media teaching model.The fourth part: explore the new media under the background of the new model of secondary vocational English teaching. Via the research of theory with practice, the author explores the method of multi-channel training students’ ability to learn, cultivates students’ innovative spirit. Through the research of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei three provinces and cities, we should strengthen regional co-operation, provide a reference model for the students in our schools.
