Jigsaw is one of the cooperative learning method, which is applied in the college classroom to solve the problem of teaching time is short but teaching task is heavy, so that student cannot complete the task independently within the limited time. This paper combs the specific application of Jigsaw in the college classroom through the literature review. On this basis, it tries to summarize which conditions should to be met when it is applied, and why it is superior to other methods of cooperative learning, as well as what problems in the process of concrete operation operation should be aware of, which is to improve the teaching and cooperative learning in the college classroom for the future by providing ideas and examples, so that we can guide the cooperative learning of the college students better.This paper mainly adopts literature method, and in the process of collecting literature, the application of Jigsaw cooperative learning method in the college classroom becomes clear gradually. It mainly analyzes the the application of Jigsaw in the theory course and practice course, tries to cover different areas as possible, and in order to show the characteristics and advantages of Jigsaw cooperative learning among college students.Result shows that in college, compared with other learning styles, Jigsaw cooperative learning has its incomparable superiority. It solves the problem of teaching time is short but teaching task is heavy so that student cannot complete the task independently within the limited time because of its structure. Its unique steps strengthen the interaction in classroom. and help student understand what they are learning. To making full use of its utility, it still needs to meet certain conditions of teaching. At the same time, Jigsaw is not suitable for any teaching content or all of the students.Therefore, during the process of college students’ cooperative learning, teachers should design it carefully and operate it in an reasonable way in the real teaching process. In addition,other teaching methods should be used together and make an adjustment according to the different teaching conditions.
