The ancients created Chinese characters on the basis of "getting inspirations by observing human bodies and the universe.". It is ideographic characters that the body itself expressed the meaning of. Its figurative thinking consistent with image thinking of children, so children can understand the corresponding relationship between form and meaning. Chinese characters is a faithful record and carrying of Chinese culture which contain the national religion,philosophy,ethics,morality,science,art and so on.I t has rich cultural value and educational value.It can promote children’s various development.Children’s basis activity is play. As the material basis of children play, play materials are indispensable part in the activities of children. There are many kinds of play materials of children literacy in the market.But the common of they is that lacking of education and entertainment. So this study is devoted to the discussion of what kind of play materials can help children obtain direct experience of connecting abstract font and meaning and to create perceptual knowledge of corresponding relations between the font and meaning.The discussion from four aspects:exploitation of the ACEFC(ancient Chinese education for children), created the ACEFC, implementation and reflection of the two action research,and the summary of the research and thoughts:Firstly, the play materials suit ancient Chinese education for children which includ ancient Chinese characters and evolution of Chines characters. Children need to observe and comparise in the operation of the course. These play materials should highlight the main features rather than emphasize the multi-function.Secondly, Chinese characters can interste in childern and develop sensitivity of writing that can prominent feature of thing. Their evollution of fonts have a certain contact.childern see chinese characters in life and reading.Thirdly, The interface of ancient Chinese character lines can help children to observe the relationship between the shape and meaning of the Chinese characters. In the same time, the interface have the story. Its color simple and crisp to outstand ancient Chinese character.Fourthly, Teacher need to pay attention to three points during the process of homemade play material:grasping the goal of ancient Chinese education for children; the subject status of the children; the relationship between the play material aesthetics and practicality.
