The Study And The Strategies Of The Use Of Video Replay In The Taekwondo Competitions In China

This essay studies the use of video replay system in four competitions which includes the influences to the referees, athletes and coaches and discusses the problems and solutions during the use of this system.The study result shows:The video replay system became normalizing and standardlizing, which brings a positive promotion to the taekwondo. Push the development of the competitive taekwondo in China on a right way as well as a better environment.Since the operater of the vedio system undertakes the duty of keeping the competition to be order,open and far. The use of the video replay system plays a role as an assistant to the referees in the marking and judging process, which offered an oppourtunity to correct the mistakes. But in the regulatory aspects of the referee, the video board member still need to be improved.The implementation of video replay system set higher requirements to coaches and athletes, which requires better explanation, uderstanding of tactics and the team work between coach and athletes. It also offers an new standard of ability that the athletes should learn, such as psychological enduring capacity.The equipment of the video replay system can’t meet the requirements of the competitions. The system could not be showed under high definition, multi-angles and all around so far, which made difficulties to judging.There will be bugs during the apply process of using the video replay system. It will be covert when the coach made statement to the referees or the referees made paraphrase to the operater of the system. The consistency of the competition will be affected either.
