AbstractThe vector is the tool which link up algebra with geometry. It makes geometry algebraization, and also could make algebra materialization and visualization; it is the bridge for figures transformation; it can deal with many problems, such as inequality, analytical geometry, plane geometry, solid geometry and trigonometric function. The nature of the vector in mathematics has a wide range of applications, and vector teaching is also an important part of high school teaching.This paper mainly studies the high school’s vector teaching based on comprehensive learning. The first part, introducing the vector briefly from the history of vector, vector in ordinary high school curriculum standard experiment textbook and vector teaching, and illustrates the meaning of the research. The second part, expounding the connotation of mathematical understanding, dividing the mathematical understanding into the knowledge level and spiritual level,and treat mathematical understanding is divided into five levels,on the basis of the mathematics teaching in five aspects. The third part separately form the phenomenon of formalizati-on and extension,knowledge intermalization and extension,knowledge transfer and the thought method Angle vector knowledge level understanding of teaching.The fourth part is the conclusion and enlightenment:mainly describing the conclusion of this research, the revelation of vector teaching, and the innovation of this study and Suggestions for further research.
