Research On Western Feminism Fairness And Its Value

Until now, women have achieved the same political rights, legal rights and equal pay for equal treatment as men in theory, but gender discrimination, gender oppression of the event is still emerging in the reality of social, women did not really "stand up to be master." Under the compulsory education system in our country, patriarchal ideology still make some girl lost her right to go to school; in companies, enterprises and the civil service recruitment program, there are still a large number of job only applicants men, and so on. These ubiquitous phenomenon in society indicate that women have not reached the true sense of the social status of equality with men, women are still in a state of gender oppression. Under the new social era sex discrimination brings new challenges to the feminists.The development of Western feminist movement, it changed the point of view and attitude towards the status of women in traditional societies, and promoted women seeking liberation and development of the cause of gender equality, and feminist theory has become an integral part of the western world philosophy. Feminist movement is challenge towards male-centered culture and social order, help to change gender inequality, promote harmony between people, to contribute to the stability of society. The research of the feminist enhance the status of women,and have a huge role to play more conducive to female potential and overall healthy development. Research on western feminist thought, help us be rational thinking, the correct treatment of its impact on the status of women, thus providing a theoretical reference for the development of gender equality in our country, for the practice of gender equality and contribute to social development.This paper consists of four main parts. The first part describes the reasons for the rise of the feminist movement. Time from the perspective of the development of feminist treatise, from the rise of feminism’s first start until the ongoing third feminism, have a brief introduction to these three feminist thought. From the aspects of social history and traditional theory, we analyze the reason for the rise. The second part describes the western feminist fair point of view. For the five schools of western feminism:liberal feminism, radical feminism, socialist feminism, Marxist feminism, post-modern feminism, summarized their main points, features and fair view content. Part Ⅲ summarizes the common characteristics of the five fair view of feminism. Part IV analyzes the western concept of contemporary feminism fair value. Western feminist theory fair view of the development of gender equality as a theoretical reference for China’s development of Chinese Marxism provides a theoretical support for women’s equality, for our party to develop guidelines on gender equality, the policy provides a theoretical reference.
