With the openness of social thoughts and renewal of idea, the male teachers gradually join the preschool teaching staff and form a unique force. However, the male graduates majoring in preschool education are a tiny minority, who are still in short supply. Moreover, the phenomenon of off-the-job or not-in-service is common. Because of the restriction of social thoughts, the male preschool teacher is not only a reality, but also a subject worth a serious discussion. And it has already become the focus of the whole society. What is the current status of the male preschool teachers? What are the requirements for the male preschool teachers in the kindergarten? Are there any questions in the process of recruiting male preschool teachers, and how to deal with it? All these questions are the starts of my research.This thesis focuses on the demands and developments of the male preschool teachers in Hebei province; depending on the requirements for the male preschool teachers in the kindergarten and the problems during their working hours. Their requirements and problems are studied on the basis of the inquiry and interview of principals of kindergartens, preschool teachers and parents. The study is designed to explore the training mode and the employment education of the male preschool major for kindergarten teachers. The study is also designed to find a way to raise employment rate and job satisfaction of the male preschool graduates.This thesis is a practical action research under a theory system instruction. The result of this thesis is going to be applied in the enrollment, cultivation and career guidance in the kindergarten teacher cultivation school where the writer serves for. The result is being inspected and improved in the practice so that the enhancement of the focus and timeline can help solve the problems of male preschool teachers’ employment. The other schools for kindergarten teachers in Hebei province may use the experience of in their enrollment, cultivation and career guidance.This thesis covers 6 parts:The first part is introduction. This part covers the problem, the research significance, the review of related research, the background, content, aim and methods and the innovation point.The second part is theory summary. This part defines the related concept of this thesis, summarizes the history and analyses the position and function of the male preschool teachers.The third part is the requirements of the male preschool teachers in the kindergartens in Hebei province and the result analysis. This part covers the design description of the study. The study is based on the survey and interview of the principals of kindergartens, the preschool teachers and parents. This part diagnosed the current personnel allocation, the salary status, the employment requirements and the job satisfaction of the male preschool teachers through three levels: the kindergarten, the preschool teacher and the parent. This part analyses the requirement problems and causes of the male preschool teachers in the kindergartens in Hebei province and the different impact of male and female preschool teachers of the parents.The fourth part is focused on the problem and their cause of the requirements of the male preschool teachers in the kindergartens in Hebei province. The problems are: 1. the lack of quantity; 2. the lack of selection; 3. the requirement goes along with misgivings; 4. the job satisfaction cannot confront the preference. The causes of those problems are: 1. the prejudice of social concept on male preschool teacher; 2. the government support on the school for kindergarten teachers is not enough; 3. the major attraction of preschool teaching and the school training is not enough; 4. the job attraction is not enough.The fifth part is the solution of the male preschool teacher requirement. With the problems and the causes analyzed in the fourth part, this section brings some solutions. 1. The attention of the government and the society would propel the preschool education forward. ①The government makes related policies to propel the preschool education. ② Strengthen public opinion to improve the social acceptance of male preschool teachers. 2. The kindergartens should spur and guide the male preschool teacher to promote their development. ①The kindergartens make incentives to attract the male preschool teachers. ② Give a full play to the advantages of the team. Build a communication platform. ③Make an exclusive career planning and professional achievement motivation for the male preschool teacher. 3. The school for kindergarten teachers should lay emphasis on the enrollment and education of the male students to deliver enough excellent male kindergarten teachers. ①Improve the enrollment rate of the male students to increase the quantities of preschool teachers. ② The school for kindergarten teachers should make logical education plan to improve the quality of the male graduates. Enlarge the employment guidance e③ ducation for the male students. 4. The male preschool teacher should renew their ideas and improve their overall quality. ①Buildup correct occupation value. ② Adjust mental attitudes and recognize the importance of the teaching career. ③Strengthen the training of the personal professional skills to meet the teaching reality in the kindergarten.The sixth part is the epilogue.
