Curling originates from Scotland Jn the 14th century, flourished in Canada which the competitive level and base of masses are stronger in the world. In 1995, Curling came into China by Japanese Curling coach At that time, most curlers were in the northeast of China Curling in China is developing very fast in recent years, especially in the 2009 World Women Curling Championship, team China won gold medals which bring great impacting and increasing social popularity. But now mass base of curling sports in China is,still relatively weak, lacking of professional talents and reserve force, slowly development Of marketing.In the Report On the Work of the 6overnment 2015, Premier of the State Council, Li Keaiang says, we should develop National Fitness. Competitiye sports and sports industry, espeeially the. bidding for 2022 Winter Olympic Games which, is supported by Chinese government. We must develop curling because it is one of the greatest winter events inChina.Most study on curling are competitive level so far no one combined media Spectacle with curling marketing; The main purpose of my study is that theTpublic take part in curling by media spectacle, so that the marketing can expand. Curling in our country can develop sustainable.The research results as below, 1. Curling in China can be divined for three period,ibfancy stage, exploration stage and development stage by Team China missing 2006 Winter O1ympic Games and winning 2009 World Women Curling Champ,onship. 2.Curling mass media change from papery media to television and Internet.3. Curling can have good development in China because of the reature of curling, the feature of,Chinese climate and Nationwide System.4.Curhng games and curling club is few, which is not good for the development of curling in China. 5. The publicity of Curling games and Stars by television and Internet has mutual promotion with curling marketing.Paper gives some suggestion at the end, hoping to help curling to popularize in China.
