Abstract/Summary:
This paper makes investigation upon the current status of the public table tennis rating game in China via the research upon documents, expert interviews, questionnaires, mathematical statistics, comparison and analysis research methods, based on the rating game and PE internet marketing as the theoretical foundation. Comparisons are made between various periods of the developmental process, finding out the influential factors of the public table tennis rating game and making analysis upon it, at last, the league match advantages and main problems are pointed out, and the developmental strategies and suggestions are put forward. The conclusions are as follows:Although the number of people and matches of the public table tennis rating game in China has been largely elevated, they are also staying at the early developing period. There are certain regional characteristics upon the match and gym distribution. There are more online platforms in cities, and the more gyms are located in the urban skirts than those in the city center. Meanwhile, there are many existing dormant members.The rating game has gone through the process in which it is originally introduced from the governing institute (CTTA), and it has gone on a broad spreading among the public, and at last, it is accepted by the super stratum. The public rating games are prevailingly developing at the bottom group of the "pyramid", that is to say, they are individually operated by online platforms, via the organization model cooperated with the clubs.The influencing factors of the rating games include:attractive factors of the matches; systematic and fair factors; social support and cooperation; players; and qualification.4. There are following space for development for the matches:Firstly, it is the issue of broader promotion; secondly, it is the elevation of the effectiveness; thirdly, it is the problem about how the CTTA could support the rating games. Fourthly, amateur brand matches with Chinese features shall be established. Fifth, how to attract more sponsors; Sixth, the uniformed point system shall be built up.The rating game will have a good development in the amateur table tennis match, the detailed information is as follows:CTTA will further support the development of the rating game, contributing to the unification of the national point system; and the flexible management model will be introduced; the online model will have seamless joint with offline business, making instant point change information; the realized profit sharing will better contribute to the market function; once the rating game is widely applied in each regions in China, it will have stronger influence. The following suggestions are put forward:1. the communication between the CTTA and each online platform ensure that the rating game owns unique and comprehensive organizational management system and monitoring mechanism; 2. Incentive mechanism is added upon CTTA and online platform.3. The performance and development will have more humanization and facile operation system.4. Cooperation shall be enhanced with the big and medium gyms in each city.
