Quality is the lifeline of graduate education, and it is the fundamental to guaranteethe sustainable and healthy development. Therefore, our research should focus on howto guarantee the quality of graduate education today as well as in the days to come.The issue of this paper is ensuring the quality of graduate education, according tothe guiding ideology "Improving the quality of higher education is the core task " whichis proposed in the "Education Plan", and based on the advice about strengthening thedegree and postgraduate education quality guarantee and supervision systemconstruction proposed by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and theMinistry of Education, to complete the connotative development, to establish ascientific concept of quality, to take the appropriate regulatory approach based on thedifferent themes and objects and to strengthen the classified guidance and management.Carrying researches based on the properties and characteristics of education Pedagogyand the problems such as the low education quality and the lack of quality assurance isbeneficial to deepening the understanding of postgraduate education quality assuranceand its related theory, making a thorough understanding of related topics and realisticproblems of postgraduate education, knowing the specific tasks, putting forwardpertinent, effective and innovative ways and countermeasures.In this paper, a comprehensive quality research concept, system science theory andscientific development view are acknowledged as the theoretical foundation and theguiding ideology, the main study methods are literature surveys, questionnaires,comparative analysis and other methods. The text basis on the present study about thepostgraduate education quality assurance at home and abroad, investigating from theseextent covers graduate student recruiting, training, system construction, the school’s emphasis on graduate education and the quality of their own students, thus to findproblems about education system of graduate education in the system construction,subject construction, construction of tutors and the students’ attitude construction. Thesuggestions are put forward as follows: improving the state security system,strengthening financial support; deepening the internal management of colleges anduniversities, strengthening the construction of the self assessment; strengthening qualityculture cultivation, improving the social supervision mechanism,; establishing a studentassociation of self-discipline and strengthening the professional consciousness and soon. I hope this research can provide practical reference for relevant personnel whichengaged in postgraduate education and training quality assurance works and educationgraduate students.
