Since the reform and open policy of our country economy rapid development,socialist construction has achieved great success, as in all kinds of contradictorydeepened, a series of crisis events and the occurrence of natural disasters, making agreat test of national defense construction is faced with. Emergency management as ascience and mature discipline, can effectively cope with crisis, deal with emergencies,to ensure the safety of lives and property of the people, safeguard national socialstability. As the cultivation of the intellectual and cultural institutions, colleges anduniversities shoulder the task of the training successors of the socialist construction,using the theory of emergency management to better improve the university nationaldefense education system will be a marxist scholars need to facing an important issue.From emergency management theory and the national defense education incolleges.and universities research related to the system analysis research of theory,through a clear definition of the concept of emergency management theory and thenational defense education in colleges and universities connotation, developmentbackground, content, characteristics of emergency management and the relationshipbetween the national defense education in colleges and universities, and then from theaspects of contact theory and practical needs, emergency management and thenecessity and the possibility of education and the national defense education incolleges and universities fusion and concludes that, based on the theory of emergencymanagement of related theory and practice way of the national defense education incolleges and universities.Based on the theory of the emergency management system of colleges anduniversities defense education research theory, and according to the theory putforward the corresponding practice way, so the need to constantly use theory withpractice.
