With the rapid development of China’s technology and economy, the demand ofhigh-level talents, especially those with an international perspective, cross culturalknowledge and competence of facing international challenges, is increasing. Theinternational talents have become the scarcest human resources of the global community.Postgraduate education, as the most high-level education, is now taking the responsibility tocultivate high-quality talents with innovativeness. The internationalization of highereducation, especially postgraduate education, has gathered more and more attention ofgovernments and education circles. The China’s postgraduate education has made greatachievements after decades of development. However, the weakness of postgraduatecultivation model is becoming increasingly evident. The international level of thepostgraduate cultivation model needs to be improved.Based on the existing research, with the integrated use of systems analysis, Delphimethod and AHP, the evaluation system of cultivation mode of internationalizedpostgraduates was established in this study to compare the current situation of VH/RUuniversities home and abroad, in order to identify the advantages and disadvantages ofChinese universities, especially universities with great development space in terms ofinternationalization, such as Beijing Institute of Technology. And then the breakthroughpoint was found out to come up with an optimization program of the cultivation model ofinternationalized postgraduates, which is promoting the cultivation of internationalizedpostgraduates through measures like the establishment of holistic view of the cultivationmodel of internationalized postgraduates, the increasing support for the cultivation ofinternationalized postgraduates, the combination of ideas and actions and the combinationof “going out” and “bringing in”.
